Rules & Scoring
Everything you need to know about the Conference Tourney Pick'em.
Overview
Pick the winner of every single conference tournament game over 14 days of action. That's ~300 games across 31 conferences. You'll also pick which team you think wins each conference tournament outright. The participant with the most total points at the end wins.
Game Picks
Every day, you pick the winner of each game scheduled for that day. Games are organized by conference โ just click the team you think wins. Picks lock at the scheduled tip-off time of that day's earliest game, so get them in before all of the day's action starts.
Conference Champion Picks
Before each conference tournament begins, pick which team you think wins the whole thing. CC picks are due at the same time all of the daily picks are due โ the tip-off of that day's earliest game. If a conference's tournament starts on a given day, your CC pick for that conference locks with everything else that day.

Upset Bonus Formula
Upset Bonus = ( Winner Seed โ Loser Seed ) รท 4
When a higher-seeded team (the seed underdog) beats a lower-seeded team, anyone who picked that upset earns bonus points on top of the base 1 point. The bigger the upset, the bigger the bonus.
Conference Champion Picks
CC Bonus = 1.5 base + ( Winner's Seed รท 2 )
If you correctly pick the conference champion, you earn a CC bonus based on the winning team's seed. Higher seeds (underdogs) are worth more. This is awarded on top of any game pick points you earned during the tournament.
Incorrect CC picks earn 0 points. CC points are awarded in addition to any game pick points.
Lock Times & Deadlines
One deadline per day. Every day has a single lock time: the tip-off of that day's earliest game. ALL picks due that day, game picks AND conference champion picks, lock at this time.
CC picks follow the daily deadline. If a conference's tournament starts on a given day, your CC pick for that conference is due at that day's lock time โ even if the conference's first game is later in the evening. For example, if the ACC starts at 7pm on 3/10 but there are noon games that day, the ACC champion pick is due at noon on 3/10.
Missed picks count as losses. If you don't submit a pick for a game, it's scored as incorrect (0 points) once that game is graded.
You can change picks as many times as you want before the lock time. Once locked at the daily deadline, picks are final.

Picking Future Games
Some games won't have known matchups yet โ they depend on results from earlier rounds. When you see a game listed as "Winner of Game X vs. Winner of Game Y," you can still pick a side. You're picking which side of the bracket the winner comes from. Once the earlier games are decided, your pick resolves to the actual team that advanced.
Transparency
In rare cases, the administrator may need to manually adjust a pick (late submission issue, technical glitch, etc.). Every manual change is publicly logged and visible to all participants.
